Nothing about this horse to make me Change Tack...
19:55 Wolverhampton - LAY - Change Tack (Forecast 3.5)
Today's race is a low on quality class 6 fillies maiden. Change Tack, trained by Amanda Perrett and ridden by Jim Crowley, is the forecast favourite.
But there's not much to like about this one. Second on her debut at Lingfield, she is racing on polytrack for the first time and is likely to do better over longer trips when handicapping.
Amanda Perrett has had 12 two-year-old runners at Wolverhampton in the last 5 years and all have been beaten. Change Tack has been off course for 104 days since her debut which may suggest she hasn't been straight forward to train and she could need this run today.
Our Piccadily and Freudian Slip can both go well in a competitive maiden but I will be laying the horrendous hound that is Change Tack.
