Today's race is the 13:10 at Lingfield, it's a class 6 handicap over 6 furlongs. Anfield Dream is forecast favourite, trained by J R Jenkins and ridden by Micky Fenton.

Anfield Dream won a class 6 handicap from a mark of 55 in September but has since been held from marks of 61, 60, 58 and 58. The useless buffoon is once again racing off 58 and should again be held.

Although he did win a 3yo maiden over course and distance back in 2005, he's a better horse at Kempton. Prominent runners tend to be vulnerable at Lingfield so if he gets away quickly he's likely to find it hard to win, but if he doesn't break quickly then he's likely to hit traffic in-running from the 1 draw.

He has finished nearer last than first in his last 6 course runs. Today's race is likely to come a bit too soon, just 5 days after his last run. It's a competitive race and hard to call the winner but I will be laying the ludicrous favourite 'Anfield Dream'.
