The Brig crosses the Irish Sea in search of a successful lay...

12:45 Cork - LAY - Rockstreet (Forecast - 1.55)

Today's race is the 12:45 at Cork, it's a maiden hurdle over two miles. Rockstreet is forecast favourite trained by Robert Tyner and ridden by P T Enright.

But this Rockstreet has looked a disgrace so far in his three races over hurdles. He has looked one-paced in two runs over two miles and four furlongs and is dropping back in trip to two miles - a step which will expose his lack of pace even more.

Unplaced on his only previous hurdles run at this trip, this cretin can be inclined to wander around in his races and is not a betting proposition at a short price.

The stable have had just one winner in the last eight months and are out of form.

Shuil Abbey and Wara Mountain can go well but I will be laying the hideous hurdler Rockstreet.
