14:25 Hamilton - LAY - Soldiers Quest (Forecast 2.8)
Today's race - a Class 6 Claimer over 1 mile 1 furlong - is a truly hideous affair filled up with some of the most useless horses currently in training.
Soldiers Quest is the favourite, trained by Peter Grayson and ridden by Keniry, but was formerly trained by Mark Johnston and he sensibly got rid of this cretinous imbecile. On pedigree he needs a bigger test of stamina than today's trip and his solitary win came over 1m4f.
This is his first race against his elders and 8-13 was the most weight he has previously carried.
If we need another reason to oppose, perhaps this will do, the horse has not been out for 116 days and has obviously gone backwards to be entered at this level.
Peter Graysons last 40 three-year-olds have been beaten and he hasn't a winner at this age since May.
Prince Samos and El Coto are the likliest winners but I will be laying Soldiers Quest.
