15:10 York - LAY - Authorized (Forecast 3.0)
Today's lay comes in one of the very best races of the season, The Juddmonte International Stakes over 1 mile 2 furlongs, where Authorized is joint favourite with Dylan Thomas.
Although Authorized won an egg and spoon race at Epsom known as the Derby earlier in the season he is way out of his league today against some of the classiest horses in the racing world.
Authorized is a better horse over 1m 4f and is unlikely to ever win a race over today's trip. In the last 10 years 28 three-year-olds have run in the Juddmonte, only one of them has actually won. That horse was the legendary Giants Causeway. Anyone who thinks that Authorized is in the same league as Giants Causeway most likely believe that the Tooth Fairy and Father Christmas are real people. Twenty-three of those 28 were actually unplaced.
The winner is almost certain to come from either Notnowcato or Dylan Thomas but my bet is the lay of the talentless rogue Authorized.
