Salsa Steps likely to tread on a few punters' toes at Folkestone on Tuesday...
15:20 Folkestone - LAY - Salsa Steps (Forecast 2.74)
Today's race is the 15:20 Folkestone - it's a Class 5 maiden over 6 furlongs. Salsa Steps is forecast favourite trained by H Morrison and ridden by Steve Drowne.
Salsa Steps has ran in four Fillies-Only maidens so far, finishing unplaced in 3 of them. She is taking on the boys for the first time in her career and should be well and truly put in her place today.
She's run over 1 mile in her last two races getting outpaced both times and this drop to 6 furlongs is not a smart move. On pedigree she's going to be best in middle distance races, so she's likely to be left trailing at the business end over 6 furlongs.
This is also her first run on fast ground and she may prefer some cut being out of Sadlers Wells.
Hazytoo and Winning Show can both go well but I will be laying the one-paced woofer, Salsa Steps.
