Timeform Verdict

Conditions here will be very different to those under which DOG FOX made a winning reappearance at Yarmouth, but it's likely that the improvement he showed that day was owing to the switch to handicap company, step up in trip and the addition of a hood, not the ground. If that proves to be the case, Ed Dunlop's charge should have little trouble following up here off a 4 lb higher mark. Edmund Ironside and Wadacre Gomez may well emerge as the main dangers.
