16:40 Yarmouth - LAY - Canadian Danehill (Forecast 2.25)

Today's race is a class 4 handicap over five furlongs. Canadian Danehill is the forecast short-priced favourite trained by R M H Cowell and ridden by Frankie Dettori.

But Canadian Danehill is a classless rogue who looks out of his depth today. All nine of his handicap wins were gained in lowly class 5 and 6 handicaps racing against no hopers.

Up in grade to class 4 racing from a mark of 83 that is 8lb higher than his best ever winning mark this pathetic excuse for a race horse would need a career best run to land this.

He has had just a four day break since his last race and this should come too soon. The trainer has a 3 per cent strike rate at Yarmouth over the last five years and it would be a shock if this donkey could improve that record. With massively over-rated jockey Frankie Dettori on board this should ensure the price stays nice and short.

Corridor Creeper and Dig Deep should both go well but I will be laying the cretinous wretche Canadian Danehill.

* Canadian Danehill finished first

    Lost you some shekels once, did he?

    "Pathetic excuse for a race horse"....lovely. Only the nine wins, then.

    Wow My Dear Boy

    The horse has actually won 10 times not 9 times.

    If I had 10 races over 100 metres against 10-year-old children then I would win all 10 race's on the bridle. Does this make me a top class athlete?

    Kind Regards
