Today's race is a wretched affair, a low grade 2yo maiden over six furlongs. There is no bigger cretin than the forecast favourite Missit.

Second in a weak fillies-only maiden last time out, she will find it tougher taking on the boys for the first time. She is the type of horse that will do better when sent handicapping over a longer trip.

Poorly drawn in stall 10 she should struggle to go the pace when the race hots up in the final furlong.

Sunny Sprite, Carnival Queen and Eseej should all go well and there are also a few interesting newcomers on our side to get Missit beaten. I will be laying the out of depth filly Missit in this competitve maiden.
