The Brigadier's lay of the day

Today I will mostly be laying ...
15:10 Goodwood - LAY - Franchoek (Forecast 2.25)
Franchoek is the forecast short-priced favourite, trained by Alan King and ridden by Richard Hughes. He may have won two of his last three races but do not be fooled - they were in cretinous low grade handicaps at poor tracks.
Stepping up into class 5 today and taking on his elders for the first time under a 6lb penalty this abysmal horse should struggle. He is going to be a hurdler and it is to be hoped that he posesses more ability in that sphere.
Trainer Alan King is 0 from 27 with his runners at Goodwood and he is highly unlikely to break his track duck with this mongrel.
Mostarsil and French Opera can go well in a very competitive handicap but my bet is the lay of Franchoek.
