With Daryl Jacob out of action for a while after his nasty fall at Cheltenham last week, Paul has had to reshuffle the pack for the Grand National. Here are his riding plans for Aintree...

I went to see Daryl at home on Monday and he was more mobile than I thought he would be considering he broke an elbow, arm and knee in the Cheltenham fall - and he was in very good spirits, too.

In fact, he offered his services to me as an on-loan assistant trainer!

Obviously, all of us here at Ditcheat wish him the speediest of recoveries.

I am now in a position to confirm our Grand National jockeys, with Sam Twiston-Davies riding Tidal Bay, as expected. And Noel Fehily will ride Rocky Creek.

I also have Welsh National runner-up Hawkes Point as a possible for the race with Ryan Mahon, who rode him at Chepstow, pencilled in for him.
