Betfair Ambassador Olly Murphy has four runners in action this weekend at Aintree and Sandown. Here's his take on all their chances...

"I have managed to secure the services of Barry Geraghty, which is a massive plus, and I would be very hopeful of a big run here but again the level of the of competition is very much an unknown."

Best chance: 15.55 Aintree - Blazer's Mill

Saturday - Aintree

Bold showing for Smackwater

13.00 - Smackwater Jack

Smackwater Jack was unlucky not to win the bumper in which he finished second to Before Midnight at Fakenham and the third horse that day, Earlofthecotswolds, has upheld the form since so that's quite encouraging.

Our guy has schooled well and does everything very easily at home which is always a good sign. Obviously, this is a very good race to start him off in but he's ready to get going. Whatever he does in Aintree he will win plenty of races and I'm hoping for a bold showing.

Barry's Blazer

15.55 - Blazer's Mill (NON-RUNNER)

Cost a lot of money - £160,000 - after finishing second in a point-to-point at Tyrella. This could be a very strong bumper with six relatively unexposed types but my lads does everything so easily at home that I have to think he will be very competitive here.

I have managed to secure the services of Barry Geraghty, which is a massive plus, and I would be very hopeful of a big run here but again the level of the of competition is very much an unknown.

Sunday - Sandown

Bawn to do it

13.50 - Finawn Bawn

Won a spring bumper very well up in Ayr and while the form of that race is yet to be tested - none of the first 4 have ran since - he couldn't have won any easier. Whatever he does today and over hurdles in general will be well received because, ultimately, he is a staying chaser and although I'm starting him off at a good track I'd be delighted if he were placed here. Schools well and is fit to do himself justice.

Needs to get at it

13.50 - Let's Get At It

Has ran in three novice hurdles since joining me from Harry Whittington and it's fair to say he has been very disappointing to date. As you would expect for a G1 track this is a competitive affair, so, on what he has shown to date, he would have to improve dramatically to be involved here.

Best Chance - Blazer's Mill
