Joseph O'Brien has four runners at Tipperary on Sunday, and while all have slight negatives the Betfair Ambassador is still hopeful of some solid performances...
"He is from a family full of hardy sprinters and he looks likely to make up into that type of horse himself."
- Joseph O'Brien on Franklin Street
Good sprinting prospect could need the experience
14:05 - Franklin Street
Franklin Street is a lovely colt by No Nay Never that I bought at the Goffs Orby Sale. He is from a family full of hardy sprinters and he looks likely to make up into that type of horse himself. Like all of our two-year-olds, we'll expect him to need the experience and hopefully he'll show plenty of promise for the future.
Hoping for a solid run to get back on track
15:10 - Rainbow Moonstone
Rainbow Moonstone came close to nabbing a bit of valuable black type earlier this season, finishing fourth in a pair of Listed races. We have lowered her sights a little bit in recent starts and she has been a shade disappointing both times. She isn't the easiest filly to place and while she might find five furlongs on this speed-favouring track to be a bit sharp for her, we'll let her take her chance and hopefully she'll run a solid race.
Hopefully this trip is ideal
16:15 - Jupiter Road
Jupiter Road is a solid type of horse, but it looks as though he might not have too many secrets from the handicapper at this stage. He's one of those that looks as though he needs further when running over a mile, but doesn't seem to get home over a mile-and-a-quarter, so maybe this nine-furlong trip might suit him best! He'll always be vulnerable to one a bit more progressive than himself in these races.
Wide draw makes life tough
17:20 - Lustful
Lustful made it second-time lucky for us when winning over this course and distance last time. A 7lb rise is probably fair, but she was drawn in stall three that day and is in another parish out in stall 19 here. While I'd be hopeful she can win again off her revised mark, her draw will make things difficult for her. She enjoys soft ground, so any rain would be a help to her.
