Betfair Ambassador Joseph O'Brien provides the lowdown on his four runners at Naas on Sunday and explains why at least three of them are in with a chance of victory...
16:20 – West Coast Time
"He ran a lovely race to finish second to our Smoking Gun on his seasonal reappearance at Gowran Park last time... The more rain that falls, the better his chance this Sunday."
He just needs to relax
15:15 - Filon D'Oudairie
Filon D'Oudairies raced very freely on his first start for us in a Grade 2 juvenile hurdle at Leopardstown's Christmas meeting. He needs to relax better if he's going to progress and hopefully he'll do that in this race. He will receive a lot of weight from his older rivals, but realistically he is probably a place prospect at best in this sort of company.
16:20 - West Coast Time
West Coast Time ran a lovely race to finish second to our Smoking Gun on his seasonal reappearance at Gowran Park last time. The run very much exceeded our expectations, as we thought he'd need the run. The form got a good boost during the week as Smoking Gun came out and followed up in a better race at Thurles. He seems to have come forward from that run and would look to have a very good chance here. The more rain that falls, the better his chance.
Deserves a win
16:50 - Vieux Morvan
Vieux Morvan ran a smashing race in the Paddy Power Chase at Leopardstown's Christmas meeting, but was a bit disappointing back there at the Dublin Racing Festival last time. Going back up in trip and any rain that falls will be a help to him. He has been knocking on the door in these big handicap chases since he started off with us and he deserves to win one, so hopefully he will acquit himself well again.
Might be in the mix
16:50 - Wishmoore
Wishmoor ran his best race so far for us in the Grand National Trial at Punchestown last time. He seemed suited by the combination of the longer trip and more positive ride. This looks very competitive, but it's a great pot to run for and, if he can reproduce his last run back over this shorter trip, he has to have a chance of getting into the mix.
