Betfair Ambassador Hugo Palmer has two runners at Goodwood on Sunday. Here he gives us his exclusive thoughts on them both...
"He won a good maiden at around this time last year but then didn’t beat a horse home in his next three starts, and he wasn’t beating a horse on the gallops either. But gelding him before Kempton seems to have done him the world of good."

He has been off the track since making a fair introduction at Windsor in May. The bare form is only modest but he shaped better than the distance he was beaten there - it looked like he was going to take a hand in the finish at the furlong pole - and hopefully we will see an improved performance here. He has done plenty of work.

Ideally, he doesn't want top of the ground, and hopefully they will get the showers they are forecast. It was very pleasing to see him win at Kempton last time, for obvious reasons. He won a good maiden at around this time last year but then didn't beat a horse home in his next three starts, and he wasn't beating a horse on the gallops either. But gelding him before Kempton seems to have done him the world of good.
He is in the Horses In Training Sale but a decision hasn't been made as to whether he goes there. He is a very big horse, and could appeal to some as a jumping prospect, but let's see how he does here. He has been raised 6lb for the Kempton win.
