Debbonair is by Slade Power, who is yet to achieve quite what has been expected of him at stud, but while he's by a speed influence, the dam is by Kalanisi out of a sister to a Derby winner, and her previous foals have won race between ten furlongs and two miles, so she is dominating the stallions she has been sent to in terms of stamina influence, and this one certainly takes more after his damsire than his sire in terms of looks.

I think he's a nice horse for the future, and this doesn't look the strongest event for two-year-olds given it's a maiden auction event, but there are a few in there with form and experience, so we should learn plenty about him from the run.
