Hugo Palmer has just the one runner at Chester on Thursday but the Betfair Ambassador is confident of a bold showing from Hyperfocus despite a wide draw...
"He bolted up off a mark of 90 at Haydock in September and has come back down to 95 now, so we're heading back in the right direction with him."

A lot of positives despite wide draw
Hyperfocus thrived after a gelding operation last year, and we operated on his wind after he disappointed on his final outing. He's not hit form yet this season, but the ground was hock deep at Bath and he showed lots of speed from a poor draw at Newmarket last time before fading, and I don't think he enjoys the track there.
This has been the plan since, and he's in great form. With his unflattering form figures and a wide draw in stall 10, he's the complete outsider, but I think that's misleading, and he has a chance if he can show the gate speed to take a good early position.
He bolted up off a mark of 90 at Haydock in September and has come back down to 95 now, so we're heading back in the right direction with him. It's obviously a tricky thing to do at Chester, but hopefully he can overcome his draw.
