"...can make light of an 11 lb hike in the weights for his latest win to complete a hat-trick..."

Timeform on Alkaamel

17:30 - INVISIBLE STORM (12) can have her latest effort easily overlooked, having been caught wide from the worst of the draw when only finishing midfield at Chelmsford last time, and she's well worth another chance given the previous promise she's showed. Brockey Rise, Steelriver and Tiger Lyon are a trio of others to consider.

18:00 - MONUMENTAL MAN (5) hasn't been disgraced in handicaps the last twice, finishing third on both occasions over this C&D. He was unable to get to the lead last time, and his waywardness under pressure probably cost him finishing closer, but nonetheless he makes most appeal on these terms dropped into selling company. Ninjago may emerge as the chief threat ahead of Fast Track.

18:30 - LADY COSETTE (5) was expensive to follow for Jeremy Noseda, but has been found a suitable race to shed her maiden status starting out for Harry Dunlop. On the pick of her form she should prove hard to beat, and fitness shouldn't be an issue give she last run 35 days ago. Miss Crick has to concede plenty of weight to most of these but is capable of getting involved.

19:00 - There could be plenty more to come from ALKAAMEL (1) who has shown much improved form since switching to handicaps, and can make light of an 11 lb hike in the weights for his latest win to complete a hat-trick, particularly as a fair bit of that rise is offset by the promising Cieren Fallon's 7 lb claim. Fellow hat-trick seeker Spirit Warning can give him most to do.

19:30 - ONEOVDEM (2) is lightly raced for his age and returns to handicap company on a very fair mark following an improved effort in minor company at Lingfield. He is doing little wrong at present and is worth persevering with. Espresso Freddo and Decoration of War failed to meet expectations last time but ought to be very competitive in a race such as this.

20:00 - A tight classified event to conclude proceedings. DODGY BOB (5) arrives on the back of four good placed efforts this year, including over C&D, and can deservedly end his losing run. Naralsaif, who goes in search of a hat-trick, Little Miss Kodi and Syblil Grand head the many dangers.
