Timeform take you through the card at Wolverhampton on Monday evening...
"She had been in good form in the weeks leading up to that heat..."
16:50 - ZENOVIA (1) is edging back down the weights and ran creditably when fourth on her most recent outing here, keeping on well to be beaten just a length and a quarter. She is now on a mark just 2 lb higher than when winning over C&D in October and looks worth backing to resume winning ways in this opening leg of the Placepot, with Simon Walker always a jockey to follow in races of this nature. Dalness Express was a comfortable winner at Kempton last time and is feared most of the remainder.
17:25 - MR POTTER (2) isn't one for maximum faith, but his latest Chelmsford second shows he is capable of winning off this mark, and a few of his recent efforts suggest he's well worth another go over six furlongs. Tasaaboq has gone close on a couple of occasions here recently and is a likely threat under Simon Walker, while Black Truffle has posted creditable in-frame efforts on his last four starts.
18:00 - MONTAGUE (2) takes a significant drop in grade here and is expected to make his class tell under Dougie Costello. Kheleyf's Girl was below par in a similar event at Lingfield on Friday, but gets a lot of weight and could provide the main threat if bouncing back to her best.
18:30 - STELLAR SURPRISE (4) was poorly placed when only fourth at Kempton last time, forced to race wide and not helping herself by refusing to settle. She had been in good form in the weeks leading up to that heat, including when winning from 3 lb lower over C&D the time before, and it would be no surprise to see her bounce back for the in-form Stuart Williams yard here. Dellaguista has been a real success story this winter and should go well again under James Sullivan.
19:00 - TECHNOLOGICAL (3) showed signs of waywardness on his recent Lingfield handicap debut, but it did not stop him going close and he's capable of better still if those tendencies can be curbed. He makes most appeal for Placepot purposes. Danzay's latest effort was disappointing, but he had shaped nicely prior to that and can bounce back on his handicap debut, while Blue Harmony has already shown she's capable of going close off her mark.
19:30 - MAXIMINUS THRAX (2) saw off subsequent Lingfield scorer Cliffs of Capri over C&D three weeks ago and is narrowly preferred to Abe Lincoln, who showed he's still useful when third last time, in a race which is highly likely to develop into match between the pair.
20:00 - MUHAJJAL (5) took advantage of a drop in the weights to get off the mark at Lingfield last month and a 3 lb rise may not prevent him going in again as he's still unexposed compared to most of his rivals here. Steal The Scene has posted good efforts in cheekpieces the last twice and should be on the premises again, while Murdanova made a decent start for Ivan Furtado when fourth at Chelmsford.
