Timeform take you through the card at Windsor on Monday evening...

16:55 - PENTLAND LAD (12) ran well in pursuit of the hat-trick when just failing at Chelmsford on Thursday, with the way the race went back down in trip more to blame for his defeat than his new mark, one that is unlikely to prove beyond him if proving as effective now back on turf. Indeed, Charlie Fellowes' charge is 6 lb clear of the field on weight-adjusted ratings and may yet prove capable of better still, especially with cheekpieces being added for the first time.

17:25 - This is likely to go to one of the newcomers, with KUWAIT DIRECTION (5) making most appeal. He ticks plenty of the right boxes on paper, representing the Richard Hannon yard that won this race with a subsequent listed winner in 2016, and the confidence in him will only increase if the market speaks in his favour. Emten boasts a speedy pedigree and also merits close attention in the betting, while Top Buck is another to consider.

18:00 - Preference here is for LADWEB (1), who has gone well fresh in recent seasons, resumes on a workable mark (4 lb lower than when third over C&D in August) and will hopefully have benefited from wind surgery. Porto Ferro's form dipped following last summer's C&D success, but she looks dangerous back here, with Mooroverthebridge also entering calculations.

18:30 - ALLEGIANT (8) failed to meet market expectations when last seen at Brighton in October, but that run is probably best forgiven under the circumstances, with Stuart Williams' charge having blatantly failed to handle the idiosyncratic track. 2 lb clear of the field on weight-adjusted ratings here, he remains potentially well treated if reproducing the form of his earlier success at Epsom, and this looks a good opportunity for him to double his career tally under Silvestre de Sousa, with the step up to middle-distances for the first time also expected to suit.

19:00 - Several promising types on show here and SINJAARI (13) could be the pick of them, having shaped with considerable promise when second on his debut for William Haggas at Redcar three weeks ago. That form is already working out well, with the winner following up in a hot handicap at Sandown on Friday, and this Camelot colt should have even more to offer on just his third start. Entrusting, who was third behind the selection last time, is feared most ahead of Durston, Global Heat and Will of Iron, all of whom are similarly promising.

19:30 - PERSIAN SUN (3) didn't need to improve to shed his maiden tag when last seen at Newcastle in December, hitting the front over three furlongs out and always doing enough thereafter to score with a bit in hand. Admittedly, an opening mark of 82 is no gift judged on what he has achieved to date - the form of his Newcastle win hasn't worked out - but Simon Crisford's charge remains open to more improvement here after only four starts, and he can call upon the services of Andrea Atzeni, who has enjoyed 33 winners from 129 rides at Windsor in the last five years (26% strike rate).

20:00 - DURRELL (5) shaped well in a couple of all-weather minor events for Luca Cumani at two, chasing home a useful colt at Newcastle on the latter occasion. He remains open to improvement and should prove hard to beat if taking to turf. Lady Madison is a live each-way player despite carrying a penalty, while Culture and William McKinley have both shown ability, but newcomer Kasuku may emerge as the main danger.
