12:45 - Not a convincing bunch, but DREAM FREE (4) hasn't been with David Pipe long and he really ought to be a factor from his current mark given his Flat ability. He shaped well in that sphere when last seen in October and is preferred to Helf, who has recent winning form over timber so is feared, while Mr Magill is worth monitoring in the market.
13:15 - Ifs and buts about them all, with a chance taken on ZUBAYR (1) for Wincanton's leading trainer who won this in 2015 and 2016. He's well-handicapped if better for a wind operation and is used to contesting stronger races than this. Eragon de Chanay got a soft lead when winning at Sandown but goes unpenalised for that and could make a bold bid from the front again. Romanor completes the shortlist.
13:45 - CAPELAND (1) is going the right way over fences, getting off the mark at Warwick 12 days ago, and the experience he has garnered over the larger obstacles could be a factor against Railroad Junkie, who looked good when making a winning chasing debut, but unseated at the first at Kempton last time.
14:15 - Now that Enrichissant is a non runner, the claims of RHYTHM IS A DANCER (5) are clear. He was the best of these in bumpers and he will be very hard to beat granted normal improvement from his hurdling debut over two miles here last time. The longer trip will be right up his street, too.
14:45 - This looks wide open with the narrow vote in favour of MALANGEN (6), who has made a fairly bright start over hurdles for David Pipe. He remains a maiden, but could yet have more to offer in this sphere and just edges the vote over Chilli Romance and handicap-debutant Fairway Freddy.
15:20 - ASKING QUESTIONS (1) was far from disgraced in the face of a sterner assignment than this at Cheltenham last month and, re-united with Harry Skelton, he is fancied to make his presence felt. Clondaw Rigger arrives in good order but his best form has come on a much softer surface, so Mr Satco may be best placed to pose the lead threat.
15:55 - Hard to separate the newcomers, but DOG OF WAR (1) fetched €95,000 last year and is a sporting choice on debut for top connections. Starsky has been strong in the betting this morning so commands respect for a yard who are doing well with their bumper runners.
