Timeform take you through the card at Wetherby on Tuesday...

14:10 - THEATRE LEGEND (3) is lightly raced for a six-year-old, with just two starts over hurdles so far, but he shaped with plenty of promise when finishing third in novice company last month, travelling well before not quickening late on. He looked ready for the switch to handicap company on the back of that, and arrives here on what looks a workable mark. With more improvement likely, he gets the vote to score. Bonne Question is more exposed in this sphere, but sets a solid standard and can chase the selection home.

14:40 - A race which could well turn into a match race, and considering that Top Ville Ben suffered a fall at Cheltenham last week, it may be worth taking him on here with LOUIS' VAC POUCH (1). He's got a little bit to find with the odds-on favourite on form, but he's looked a nice prospect when winning minor contests the last twice, and could be worth chancing here with more improvement to come.

15:15 - MINELLA WARRIOR (1) improved markedly for the step up to three miles when finishing second handicap debut at Huntingdon in January, ultimately getting headed on the Flat but sticking to his task well. Raised just 3 lb for that, he's lurking on a good mark at the moment, and can go one better here. Diamond Fort also posted a big career best in defeat last time and is feared most, with Know The Score best of the rest.

15:50 - An open, low-grade handicap hurdle, in which it looks worth siding with THE STING (3). Admittedly, his opening mark looked rather steep, but he ran with plenty of credit to finish third on his debut in this sphere at Carlisle last time, looking unlucky to bump into a pair who are far more interesting than most at this level. A 1 lb drop in the weights for that will assist, and he's a solid candidate. Border Victor is going through a good spell and rates a threat, while Leverock Lass was well held last time but an opening mark in the low 100s looks workable based on her previous Ayr win.

16:20 - BALLASALLA (5) is perhaps unlucky not to have opened his account by now, considering that a better leap at the last on his most recent start at Doncaster in January would have perhaps been enough for him to score there. A 2 lb rise for that run looks fair, and he is taken to go on better here considering that he's still unexposed in this sphere. Captain Mowbray is capable off this mark and is next best ahead of Lough Salt, who just failed over a longer trip here 4 weeks ago.

16:55 - We close the card at Wetherby with an intirguing bumper, in which it may be worth taking on the current odds-on favourite, Sheshoon Sonny, at the prices. The favourite is respected having shown fair form in two starts so far, but the bar that has been set isn't an insurmountable one, and it could be worth taking him on with the newcomer, ALMAZHAR GARDE (3). He makes plenty of appeal on paper (brother to 2 winners, including useful hurdler/very smart chaser Hammersly Lake) and represents a yard with a reasonable strike rate in bumpers over the last five years (13%). It's interesting that Almazhar Garde is Gavin Sheehan's only ride on the card, and considering his record when this is the case, he's fancied to go close on debut.
