Timeform take you through the card at Wetherby on Friday...
"...he may well have more to offer yet after just half a dozen career starts."
Timeform on Lever Du Soleil
17:40 - JUNGLE JUICE (7) only just failed to make a winning debut in a similar event at Goodwood last week, taking just a little too long to get going before finishing with a flourish, and she can go one better today for a yard that continues to do well with this type of recruit. Izvestia and Amadeus Grey are both likely improvers and most interesting of the others.
18:10 - LEVER DU SOLEIL (5) got off the mark at the sixth attempt when making all at Redcar last month, winning unchallenged after kicking for home three furlongs out, and he may well have more to offer yet after just half a dozen career starts. He can follow up under a 5 lb penalty. Sincerely Resdev chased home the selection last time and may do so once again.
18:40 - MAGHFOOR (1) produced his best effort of the season so far when finishing a close third at Haydock last week, finding more for pressure than often has been in the case and he looks one to be interested in off the same mark here. Blue Medici has a decent pedigree and is sure to do better now handicapping over a more suitable trip, while Fleetfoot Jack and Shamrokh are others capable of getting involved.
19:15 - A tight contest, in which narrow preference is for ALLANTE (7), who split a couple of subsequent winners when runner-up on her handicap debut at Lingfield last month. A 4 lb rise looks lenient with that in mind, and she is taken to score. Savaanah is interesting having got off the mark at Ripon last time and can go close, whilst Spring Waterfall is interesting if fully tuned up after a break.
19:50 - JUSTICE PLEASING (11) was narrowly edged out by Fyrecracker at Thirsk on Tuesday, but the former is now slightly better off at the weights with that rival, which could make all the difference. Talent Scout is slowly coming back to his best, and should appreciate this drop into 0-65 company.
20:25 - RACEHORSE (2) got off the mark here at the beginning of the month, digging deep to score under pressure having taken the lead a furlong out, and her 5 lb rise for that success looks fair considering the first two pulled nicely clear of the third. She may be capable of following up, and is taken to do so. Ingleby Molly has the potential to build on her Wolverhampton third with the step up to 1m promising to be in her favour, while Ventura Crest was a fine second here when last seen in April.
20:55 - VALLARTA (4) is clearly on a good mark judged on his recent effort at Hamilton (dead-heated for second but placed third after causing interference), and he gets the nod to take the finale. Chizz De Biz won a weak race at Brighton last week, but she's still lightly raced so may yet do better, while Burtonwood has been given a real chance by the handicapper.
