Timeform pick out three bets from Nottingham on Wednesday...
Wahiba - 14:50 Nottingham
The drop back to seven furlongs and switch back to turf seemingly made all the difference for Wahiba at Yarmouth last time, proving better than ever to get off the mark after a nine-week break. The way she travelled on the front end that day suggests she won't have any problem over this trip, and she can prove a subsequent 8 lb rise on the lenient side. Roman Holiday improved for cheekpieces at the end of last season and will be a threat if primed for her return, while French is another who has reacted well to headgear and won easily at Thirsk recently.
Vice Versa - 15:20 Nottingham
Fitter for her reappearance, Vice Versa showed much improved form to get off the mark in a Wolverhampton maiden earlier this month, causing something of a surprise on the day at odds of 25/1. She arguably had the run of the race, but she did dig deep under pressure, and has plenty about her physically, so the feeling is she will go on improving for a while yet. An opening BHA mark of 80 looks on the lenient side all things considering, and she is taken to dominate this small field. Carducci is also going the right way and should give Sir Michael Stoute's filly most to do.
Dominating - 16:50 Nottingham
At first glance, Dominating has perhaps been a little disappointing on both his starts this season, but his reappearance run was seemingly needed, and he is worth forgiving his latest run at York on the softest ground he has encountered as of yet. He was generally going the right way towards the end of last season, and this significant step up in trip is expected to suit on breeding, so he could be worth chancing from what appears a fair mark. Likely favourite Amadeus Rox is a clear second choice and needs respecting.
