MEGALOMANIAC has two his last two starts and has been off for two months suggesting that this could have been the plan for a while. He won easily on handicap debut over hurdles, making light work of a mark of 100. He got raised 8 lbs for that and has since been upped to today's trip when making his chase debut last time. That performance suggested he's still open to improvement over hurdles and can complete the hat-trick here.

Giga White - 20:00 Galway

GIGA WHITE has been running with credit all season, with excuses last time when tried in cheekpieces, and the extra half a furlong here could be the catalyst to him getting his head in front. His most recent bit of form over a mile was in a small field and he could have benefitted from a stronger gallop that day to be seen in the best light. He will get that here now 12 rivals lining up against him and that should be enough for him to record his first win of the season.

Eight And Bob - 20:30 Galway

Willie Mullins teams up with Colin Keane here with EIGHT AND BOB. A winner over two and a half miles over hurdles and now rated 128 in that sphere, a mark of 68 on the flat looks extremely workable and he can improve now tackling two miles for the first time on the flat. He won on flat handicap debut and got put up 10 lbs for that and has since finished second when well clear of the rest suggesting improvement is forthcoming. He can take the last race of the day for powerful connections.
