Timeform pick out three bets from Wolverhampton and Newcastle on Thursday...
"On pedigree, the step up to a mile and a half will suit, and she makes plenty of appeal for an in-form yard."
Timeform on One Second
One Second - 16:00 Wolverhampton
One Second can boast some strong juvenile form and she could have been let in lightly now making her handicap debut after a break. The form of her second-place finish in a minor event at Doncaster reads well, and she can be forgiven her final start at Newmarket when attracting support. On pedigree, the step up to a mile and a half will suit, and she makes plenty of appeal for an in-form yard.
False Id - 17:05 Wolverhampton
It could be worth chancing False Id, who admittedly hasn't won since June 2016, but is very well handicapped on old form now starting out for an in-form yard. He lost his way in three starts for Daniel Steele, but makes his debut for a capable yard now, and looks the way to go despite a wide draw. Gone With The Wind and Noneedtotellme head the dangers.
Fountain of Time - 19:45 Newcastle
Fountain of Time made plenty of appeal on paper and looked a good prospect when winning on her debut at Lingfield earlier this month, overcoming inexperience to win by one and three quarter lengths. She was slowly away, but soon recovered and travelled with purpose, staying on to lead in the final half furlong, well on top at the finish. There should be more to come from her and she is expected to prove too strong for the equally promising Playfull Spirit, who shaped well when sixth behind the selection on her respective debut.
