Bets Of The Day: Animore ready on hurdles debut

Nick Shiambouros went close on Tuesday when his best bet Sarasota traded at 1.031/33 in running before being beaten. Our man hopes for better fortune with two fancies from Musselburgh and Southwell...
"I think she has ability, and could run well at a big price providing she settles"
Animore ready on hurdles debut
14:40 Musselburgh - Animore
I am going to take a chance with Animore in this maiden hurdle.
This mare has shown promise in all three bumper starts to date. Last time out at Ayr she finished third to Arion Sky. She attempted to make all, but was a spent force two furlongs from home. She went off a little too quickly, and ultimately paid the price. I think she has ability, and could run well at a big price providing she settles. At present she is trading at 10.09/1 on the exchange.
Landsman is the short priced favourite at 2.186/5 on the exchange. He finished a fair third to Heatstroke on hurdles debut and should move forward. His price is thin to say the least.
Al ready to win
16:40 Southwell - Al Daayen
Al Daayen can give trainer Mark Johnston another winner in this novice stakes.
This filly finished third to Orchid Star at Newcastle earlier this month. She held every chance a furlong from home, but failed to quicken when the chips were down. This race will not take a great deal of winning, and should have enough improvement to take this. At present she is trading at 6.411/2 on the exchange which is more than fair.
Debutant Copper And Five is the favourite at 2.47/5 on the exchange. His Dam was a four time winner on the flat ,including two on the Polytrack. He must be respected and is the main danger.
