"...he showed enough on his penultimate start here to suggest a race of this type would be within his grasp..."
Timeform pick out their three best bets from Kempton on Wednesday...
Lehoogg - 18:00 Kempton
Lehoogg shaped with plenty of encouragement on debut at Yarmouth in September and, with improvement on the cards, the son of Bated Breath looks the one to be on now making his all-weather debut after a break. Glory showed more than enough as a two-year-old to make him a big player in a race of this nature and he is feared most ahead of likely-looking newcomer Desert Lion and Dargel.
Capofaro - 19:00 Kempton
Though Capofaro has hardly set the world alight in a handful of minor events, he showed enough on his penultimate start here to suggest a race of this type would be within his grasp. He hasn't fared so well with the draw, but he is likely to be held up, and is preferred to One Liner, who is still winless following 22 attempts but has to enter calculations based on his latest effort at Wolverhampton. Tellovoi has been in decent form of late and is also one for the shortlist.
Steelriver - 20:30 Kempton
Steelriver did well to finish as close as he did when third at Wolverhampton earlier this month and, with a strong pace likely to ensue here, he is taken to resume winning ways off the same mark. Enthaar hasn't done a great deal wrong in his seven-race career and needs considering on the back of his solid Chelmsford effort 20 days ago. Cappananty Con is another with solid claims.
