Nick Shiambouros turns his attentions to HQ today with two selections from the super card...

"Henry Candy trained his Dam Flambeau who was Listed class and knows the family well"

Back Ifton Each - Way in the 14:35 at Newmarket

Stay to leave rivals behind

14:00 Newmarket - Stay Forever

Stay Forever should make her presence felt in this seven furlong contest.

This filly put in a much improved effort when finishing second to Annecy at Lingfield. She was sent for home a furlong out, but was collared by the game winner close home. I believe she has more improvement in her, and is attractively priced at 3.55/2 on the exchange.

Alan King sends out favourite Tronada who is trading at 3.185/40 on the exchange. She finished a closing third to Dubai Blue at Lingfield last month and sets a fair standard. She lacks pace in my opinion, and may need further to be seen to full effect.

Candy runner ready

14:35 Newmarket - Ifton

Ifton could run well at a big price in this novice stakes.

This colt created a favourable impression on debut when finishing fifth to Politicise at Newbury last month. He put in some good work inside the final furlong, and finished the race with good energy. Henry Candy trained his Dam Flambeau who was Listed class and knows the family well. He looks decent Each-Way value at around 12.011/1 on the exchange.

King Ademar is an interesting runner. He was heavily backed on debut when disappointing behind Fintas at Chelmsford earlier this month. He comes from a good family and may have a lot more to offer. At present he is trading at 5.85/1 on the exchange.
