Nick Shiambouros returns with two Wednesday selections from Lingfield and Kempton...
"I think he is open to a fair bit of improvement and is attractively priced at 7.26/1 on the exchange"
15:45 Lingfield - General Jack
I am going to take a chance with General Jack in this interesting contest.
This colt was sent off favourite on debut, but could only finish fourth behind Furzig over this course last month. He was a little green in the early stages, but finally got the hang of things a furlong from home and finished the race with good energy. I think he is open to a fair bit of improvement and is attractively priced at 7.26/1 on the exchange.
Galloway Hills heads the market at 3.65. He beat Nomorecalls over this course earlier this month, and is progressing nicely. He does have to carry a penalty which makes things tougher.
17:45 Kempton - Bobby Biscuit
Bobby Biscuit looks like the horse to beat in this novice stakes.
This colt caught the eye on debut when finishing fourth to Symbolization over this course last September. He kept on steadily in the closing stages, but never posed a threat to the easy winner. He is by Scat Daddy and is out of a mare that won a Listed race, so the distance and surface suit him down to the ground. I think he has a lot more to offer and is fairly priced at 3.211/5 on the exchange.
Holy Shambles is the second choice at 3.259/4. He does not look entirely straightforward, but was a creditable third behind Sovereign Duke earlier this month.
