Timeform pick out their three best bets from Chepstow on Wednesday...

"...has all the credentials to be a much better chaser than hurdler, especially over this longer trip..."

Timeform on Snuff Box

SOLSTICE STAR - 12:40 Chepstow

SOLSTICE STAR came in for an excellent tactical ride when cashing in off his reduced mark over C&D recently. However, he remains with plenty of handicapping scope and could be worth chancing to follow up. He's again partnered by Richard Johnson and is still well-treated on his old form. The returning Steel Bob, handicap debutante Chloe's Court and Juge et Parti are all solid contenders also though, in a competitive opener.

SNUFF BOX - 14:15 Chepstow

Top-weight SNUFF BOX has all the credentials to be a much better chaser than hurdler, especially over this longer trip, so, despite a mark that demands improvement, it's worth taking a chance on Venetia Williams' representative to make a winning return trying this discipline for the first time. Garrane and Billy Bronco's prior experience will stand them in good stead, so they are both well respected, too.

OXWICH BAY - 15:20 Chepstow

Timeform top-rated OXWICH BAY caught the eye when fourth of 16 on chase debut here two weeks ago and looks a big player with improvement forthcoming back up in trip. The handicapper has been generous with a 1 lb drop and this looks an easier race, regardless. The Kings Writ and Stage Summit are a couple of the likely dangers.
