12.30 St. James's Place Juvenile Hurdle (4) 2m69y

Timeform Top Rated:
139p 1. STYLE DE GARDE Nicky Henderson Nico de Boinville
138p 3. DOCTOR BARTOLO Alan King Ian Popham
136 9. ROYALE ZANZIBAR Tom Symonds Jamie Moore

Analyst's Verdict:
Style de Garde has already shown a fairly useful level of form in France, and there could be more to come from him on his first start for his new yard. Alan King's pair Doctor Bartolo and The Blues Master look the other key players.

1.00 Worshipful Company of Distillers Maiden Hurdle (4) 2m69y

Timeform Top Rated:
137p 16. POTTERMAN Alan King Wayne Hutchinson
136p 5. BRIANSTORM Warren Greatrex Sam Twiston-Davies
127p 11. LOST HISTORY John Spearing Jamie Moore

Analyst's Verdict:
There was a lot to like about Potterman's first effort over hurdles at Kempton last month and he looks the way to go here with improvement very much on the cards. Brianstorm is another who made an encouraging start over timber recently and rates an obvious threat, while the Nicky Henderson pair Pacific de Baune and Doux Pretender would also come into it if the market speaks in their favour.

1.30 St. James's Place Chase (Novices' Limited Handicap) (3) 2m7f86y

Timeform Top Rated:
145 5. ABBREVIATE Kim Bailey Mikey Hamill (5)
143 2. DINGO DOLLAR Alan King Wayne Hutchinson
142 6. JOE FARRELL Rebecca Curtis Leighton Aspell

Analyst's Verdict:
Abbreviate was better than the result (went off too hard) at Ascot last time and looks fairly treated, certainly if Mikey Hamill's 5 lb claim is taken into account. Cosmos des Obeaux is interesting switched to fences on his first run for Nicky Henderson, particularly if the market vibes are strong. Dingo Dollar is also likely capable of going well if he can keep the errors down.

2.05 Thoroughbred Breeders Association Mares' Novices' Chase (Listed) (1) 2m7f86y

Timeform Top Rated:
155 3. MS PARFOIS Anthony Honeyball Noel Fehily
152 5. TACENDA Anthony Honeyball Harry Cobden
151 2. MORELLO ROYALE Colin Tizzard Robbie Power

Analyst's Verdict:
A competitive event but Ms Parfois looks the one to beat based on her Cheltenham success on Friday if not finding this coming too soon. Happy Diva finished on front of the selection at Uttoxeter last month so has to be feared, along with Two Swallows and Tacenda.

2.40 Powersolve Electronics Greatwood Charity Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Chase (4) 2m92y

Timeform Top Rated:
134 1. RAMONEX Richard Hobson Jack Savage (5)
131p 10. LAKE FIELD Kim Bailey Mikey Hamill (3)
130p 7. BORN TO SIZE Richard Woollacott Bryony Frost

Analyst's Verdict:
Ramonex is already a better chaser than hurdler after his third at Catterick last month and his opening mark may underestimate him. Born To Size looked a natural when making a winning start over fences in Ireland and has to be respected on debut for new connections, while Lake Field is another who made a positive start in this sphere when runner-up at Lingfield on return.

3.15 Qolcom EBF Stallions 'National Hunt' Novices' Hurdle (Qualifier) (4) 2½m118y

Timeform Top Rated:
154 7. MELROSE BOY Harry Fry Noel Fehily
145p 6. GOWITHTHEFLOW Ben Pauling James Banks
141p 10. WARTHOG David Pipe Tom Scudamore

Analyst's Verdict:
Melrose Boy brings solid handicap form to the table and it will probably require one of his rivals to run to a potentially useful level to beat him. Mr Whipped has scope for plenty of improvement and is feared the most, while Gowiththeflow and Warthog both needing considering after their promising debuts over hurdles.

3.45 St. James's Place Fillies' "Junior" Standard Open National Hunt Flat (6) 1½m143y

Timeform Top Rated:
108 4. CASSIS DE REINE Bill Turner Thomas Greatrex (7)
106p 2. AIMEE DE SIVOLA Nick Williams Lizzie Kelly (3)
91 8. SO LONELY John Butler Noel Fehily

Analyst's Verdict:
Empreinte Reconce won a bumper in good style on her sole outing in France and it would come as no surprise if she was able to defy a penalty on debut for top connections. Smartly-bred Aweeminit hails from a yard that has an excellent record in bumpers so rates the obvious threat.
