Timeform pick out three bets from Greyville on Wednesday.
Badawee 12:10 (BST)
Badawee hasn't looked as impressive in his last two outings but has a better than sporting chance of taking this if he can repeat his second to Supreme Orator over shorter on his debut at Kenilworth. This will be his first outing on the polytrack after an eighth of eleven over this trip at Kenilworth last month, but he was only beaten five lengths at the line in what looked a much stronger contest, and Badawee is sure to run well in this class for in-form trainer Dean Kannemeyer.
Pomona 12:45 (BST)
Pomona keeps on threatening to win a race for trainer Charles Laird and this could well be her best opportunity yet. Two second places and two third spots from four races go to show she has plenty of talent, with a two and a quarter length third at Scottsville over this trip last time out. The return to the all-weather this afternoon is expected to suit the daughter of Querari admirably, and although this is a tough race to win, Pomona looks to have the best chance in this thirteen runner field granted the necessary luck in running.
Dundrum 14:30 (BST)
Dundrum is lightly raced for a five-year-old with just the seven starts and the daughter of Tiger Dance just keeps on improving. Last time out trainer Mark Dixon sent her to Scottsville over this trip where she ran away with a maiden by over four lengths at the line hard held, and a rating of 65 looks pretty generous ahead of her handicap debut. If she improves again as expected then Dundrum looks the one to be on here and seems a generous price in the circumstances.
