Timeform on Fraser Island
Shetland Bus - 15:10 Ludlow
Shetland Bus showed improved form to justify strong market support on just his second start for Justin Landy at Musselburgh recently. He was ultimately forced to pull it out of the fire after idling somewhat, but perhaps had a bit more in hand than the close finish would suggest and, given he escapes a penalty for that win, he gets the vote to follow up with another victory here.
Mr Antolini - 13:00 Ludlow
Mr Antolini acquitted himself well in competitive handicaps last term and made an encouraging start to chasing when 15 lengths behind the smart Black Op at Stratford in October. However, he disappointed when pitched into a handicap last month and his jumping wasn't really up to standard. This looks a competitive enough contest and he can be taken on.
Fraser Island - 12:20 Newbury
2 - Nicky Henderson's number of winners in past 9 runnings
Nicky Henderson has won this race twice in the last nine runnings, so there is a lot to like about Fraser Island's chances here on his hurdles debut. The three-year-old is having his first run since leaving Mark Johnston's yard and has the credentials to do well over hurdles. He ran to a fairly useful level on the Flat and should be winning races like this before long if able to replicate that form.
