Timeform on Becki's Dance
It's worth taking a chance on the fitness of Bekki's Dance, who hasn't been seen out since September but has good experience of this track, having been successful here on three occasions in the second half of last year, twice over this trip. Of her ten rivals, seven are similarly making their first appearance since the autumn, while the other three have had a recent run but failed to make any impression.
Avery Lynn, who won at Fair Grounds in March for Karl Broberg, switches back to the dirt on her second outing for new trainer Brett Brinkman after a respectable effort on turf here a month ago. Alivia's Lion is stepping back up in trip after three runs at 6f, while Joker's Queen faces a stiffer task giving weight away all round than when successful by six lengths here last time.
Magic Vow has run well on both his starts on turf and should cope well with this slight drop back in trip. Masterly has been running well over shorter distances this year and will be having his first outing for Ron Faucheux after being claimed following a good second at Fair Grounds last time, while Tiz Cherry Wine, successful on all three of his starts in 2017, will be reappearing after an absence of over fourteen months.
