Timeform pick out bets from Greyville on Wednesday.
"With the stable in good form we could well see a Garth Puller Anthony Delpech double on the day..."
Bluemoonrising has already had eight unsuccessful starts, but this looks by far the weakest contest he has run in yet, and if he can reproduce his nose second to Hero's Welcome last time out over half a furlong further here, then he will take a lot of catching. The Garth Puller yard are going nicely and they don't come any better than Anthony Delpech in the saddle, and if the son of Blue Tiger is in the same form today then Bluemoonrising can get off the mark this morning.
Colour Your Dreams drops in class this afternoon for trainer Dennis Drier and if she can recapture anything like her best form off a rating effectively three pounds lower today than a perfectly acceptable fourth at Kenilworth last time out, then she looks the one they all have to beat. She was beaten close to five lengths that day hence the weight drop but looked ill at ease over the mile and if they make plenty of use of her dropped in trip this afternoon, then Colour Your Dreams has an excellent chance of a second career success.
Shantytown ran well enough for a long way last time out before dropping away to finish a well beaten ninth here when tried over a mile, but is far better judged on his length and three-quarter fourth to War-King at Scottsville over this trip in January. That race now looks above average with plenty of places from those who finished in behind, and with the stable in good form we could well see a Garth Puller Anthony Delpech double on the day if Shantytown can come home in front as expected.
