Timeform pick out three bets from Scottsville on Wednesday...
"Last month she was only beaten a quarter of a length by Miss Trust over this seven-furlong trip with the third a full six lengths behind..."
Vision To Kill is an interesting option for trainer Paul Gadsby and is a very decent sprinter at his best, with wins at Greyville on both the polytrack and the turf over this trip in August and October last year. If the son of Kildonan runs to the rating of 103 he has been allocated this afternoon then he is clearly best in at these weights but he has been absent since late October, which is the only negative for Vision To Kill today and one he is expected to overcome.
Breaking Barriers has been progressing race on race for Dennis Drier with a sixth followed by a fourth a third and more recently a second, all at Greyville with one on the turf and three on the polytrack. Last month she was only beaten a quarter of a length by Miss Trust over this seven-furlong trip with the third a full six lengths behind suggesting the form is way above average for a maiden, and if that assumption is correct then Breaking Barriers can break her duck in this race.
Sunset Eyes - 12:35 (GMT) Scottsville
Sunset Eyes is in a rich vein of form lately for Brett Crawford with a Greyville win over seven furlongs in early January followed by a course and distance success later the same month. He may have only won by a quarter of a length that day but did so a shade cleverly and has only been put up two pounds for that reason, but Sunset Eyes was value for far more and may be able to land his hat-trick now with Anthony Delpech in the saddle once again.
