De Name Evades Me - 14:35 Exeter

De Name Evades Me shaped encouragingly on his chase debut at Chepstow last month and the form is working out well (Truckers Lodge and Golden Sunrise have both been subsequent winners). He is entitled to improve on that comeback effort, looks well treated on his handicap chase debut and, with the Fergal O'Brien yard in red-hot form, he is worth siding with.

Not A Nail - 13:25 Exeter

Not A Nail shaped with promise when finishing third in a bumper at this course on debut but disappointed next time when beaten a long way at Ffos Las. He should be suited by this step up in trip on his hurdling debut, but there are plenty of other unexposed types in the race and he is worth opposing.

Commodore looks much better suited to chasing than hurdling and has won both starts over fences in impressive style. He jumped superbly on both outings over fences last term and looks likely to improve further. Venetia Williams has her stable in good form, has a fine record with horses returning from a break and there is every reason to think Commodore will go close.
