Timeform pick out three bets from Greyville on Wednesday.
"The son of Visionaire has his best chance yet of getting off the mark this afternoon..."
Volcanic Sunset - 12:10 Greyville
Volcanic Sunset is in the capable hands of Sean Tarry and looks as if he is ready to win a race at last on his eighth start. A slow learner so far, he has placed in five of his seven starts so far with a solid length and a quarter second to Harlan County at Turffontein four days ago, and if Volcanic Sunset is none the worse for that effort, the son of Visionaire has his best chance yet of getting off the mark this afternoon.
Alraune - 12:50 Greyville
Alraune is officially the highest rated in this field and ran her best race yet by some margin last time out here at Greyville on the all-weather track when a half-length second to Lady Val last month. The form of that race is yet to be seriously tested though the third did finish second last time out, but it looked as strong as this at the very least, and if Alraune can repeat that or even her eighth the race before in the August Millions, she ought to win her first race for trainer Gavin van Zyl here.
She's A Dream - 13:25 Greyville
She's A Dream has a head start with the booking of Ashton Arries who claims three pounds off the back of the Kahal filly, who won her second ever race last time out by a length and a half here on the polytrack over this trip for trainer Mark Dixon after her highly promising debut third. She has been given a merit rating of 76 for her handicap debut which looks reasonable regardless but more importantly, she has any amount of improvement to come, and if She's A Dream comes on for that race even slightly, she may well prove way too good for all of these.
