"...she could prove to be better than this grade and is fancied to follow up."

Timeform on Choochoobugaloo

14:10 - CHOOCHOOBUGALOO (3) proved herself to be well-handicapped when getting off the mark in smooth fashion at Kelso in January, and while she's been hammered by the handicapper for that success - she's 14 lb higher this afternoon, she could prove to be better than this grade and is fancied to follow up. Man Of The North was another last time out winner and is respected, while Mercer's Troop would have claims if bouncing back from a poor run at Warwick last time out.

14:40 - COOPERS SQUARE (12) showed his first piece of meaningful form to get off the mark at Huntingdon 8 days ago, making all and winning unchallenged despite making a bad error two out. He's able to race here off the same mark as last time (though racing from out of the handicap) and though he isn't one for maximum faith, he could be capable of following up. Blackmill and Babytaggle head the opposition.

15:10 - THE CASHEL MAN (6) was a useful performer on the Flat for David Simcock, and he produced a solid opening effort for Nicky Henderson when making stablemate Pym dig deep when second at Kempton last month. Returning from a 20-month absence that day, it was possible he could have won had he have produced a cleaner jump at the last, and he's taken to go one better here. Trio For Rio was a solid second at this level last time and is respected, though has to carry a penalty, whilst Ardlethen and Bubbles of Gold are two others to consider.

15:45 - OH LAND ABLOOM (1) hasn't won for 18 months now, but he's well and truly bounced back to form, looking unlucky not to win when second at Warwick last time under an attacking ride, only getting seen off by a progressive rival. Off the same mark as last time, he should take some beating. Doesyourdogbite has slipped to an attractive mark and can pose the biggest threat having shaped with some encouragement on reappearance last time, while Perfect Man and Theatrebar are worth a second look.

16:15 - With just four runners due to head to post, this is likely to be trappy, and though Crucial Role is likely to be sent off a warm favourite, it looks worth siding with the outsider of the field at the time of writing, TANARPINO (4). He shaped as if he needed the run on reappearance at Kelso 9 days ago, and with that under his belt he could go well, considering he has run well here previously. Crucial Role bled from the nose at Haydock last time, but the form of his win here two starts ago is working out well and he's feared.

16:50 - ANOTHER THEATRE (1) completed a double in emphatic fashion at Newcastle last time out, making light of her mark on handicap debut to forge clear, being eased down at the finish. She hasn't finished improving yet, and is a strong fancy to complete the hat-trick here with more to come. Belle Amis shaped encouragingly on debut in November and can give the selection most to think about.
