Timeform's US team have found three bets for you at Sam Houston on Tuesday
Sam Houston race 2, 19:27 GMT - Kudzu Dance
Kudzu Dance has run well on her last two starts in maiden claiming company, and looks a good bet to get off the mark against similar opposition in this weak six-furlong contest. Third over course and distance last time out, Kudzu Dance recorded a TimeformUS speed figure that would be good enough to win most renewals of this kind of race, and with her chief rival Hazel Run returning from a 438-day layoff, everything looks in place for Kudzu Dance to get off the mark.
Sam Houston race 3, 19:57 GMT - Fireman's Carry
The following race - also a maiden claimer - can fall the way of Fireman's Carry, who came very close to breaking her maiden last time out when beaten just a nose at the same level as today. That was over five and a half furlongs, and the extra distance of today's six-furlong contest will be no problem to Fireman's Carry, who has shown form over further in the past. Another beaten a nose last time out, Mopsa, looks best of the opposition.
Sam Houston race 5, 20:50 GMT - Overspent (LAY)
Overspent is sure to be popular in this one-mile claimer having won his last two starts, including against allowance opposition last time, but neither of those races were particularly strong, and he looks worth taking on at what is almost certain to be a lower price than the forecast 3/1. Overspent doesn't have a great deal of early pace and could find himself getting too far back in this event, and with several in opposition whose form is a tad better, a lay at 3.5 or shorter is recommended.
