Timeform's US team pick out their three best bets for Tuesday...
"Venture Exchange hasn’t run on a synthetic surface since last September but looks well worth taking a chance on at the likely price..."
Devil's Lil Bit has plenty against her in race 3 at Presque Isle Downs (23:15 BST). This Nine-year-old mare has been off the track for 220 days, and returns against a field who all possess stronger form than her. She usually needs a decent pace to run at, too, and that is far from guaranteed here. She looks a lay at anything around 4.3.
It's probably fair to say that claiming races at Fair Grounds are a good deal stronger than those found at Mountaineer, and Quickhutch looks to have a great chance of winning race 3 at the latter track tonight (00:46 BST). This particular claiming race looks a fair bit weaker than the ones Quickhutch has run in at Fair Grounds on his last two starts, and he has a great chance of leading all the way in this event.
Venture Exchange hasn't run on a synthetic surface since last September, having raced seven times on dirt, and once on turf, in the intervening period. He returns to the all-weather in race 7 at Presque Isle Downs (00:55 BST) and could well bounce back to form. He seems to have lost his way recently, but it could be that he's just better on this kind of surface, and looks well worth taking a chance on at the likely price.
