Timeform's US team are on hand to pick out their three best bets for Tuesday night's US racing...
"The late-developing Transatlantic will probably want further in time, but the company here isn't exacting, he has Lasix again and his Morning Line price makes plenty of appeal..."
The third race at Will Rogers Downs (19:26 BST) looks a decent opportunity for One Mean Cat to break his duck at the meet. Unusually for one at this very lowly level, he can be relied on to give his running and if repeating any of his last four efforts (which include a defeat of possibly his most dangerous rival today Crafty Talent) he will take all the beating. His price reflects that, obviously, but arguably he should be even shorter in the market.
Heart Racer looks to be overpriced in the fifth race (20:22 BST) at the same Oklahoma venue and should arguably be favourite instead of the Morning Line third choice. She won a maiden claimer at Remington Park on her final start last year and wasn't beaten far in a better race than this on her reappearance. She was then sent off a short price but didn't see out the mile and the drop back to six furlongs in much weaker company can pay dividends.
Transatlantic might not have won much of a race at Mountaineer last month on just his second start, but he could hardly have won by further on first-time Lasix and and his excellent pedigree - by A. P. Indy out of a multiple Graded winner on both turf and dirt - points to his improving another chunk up in trip and switched to turf in the second race (00:23 BST) at the West Virginia venue. The late-developing five-year-old will probably want further in time, but the company here isn't exacting, he has Lasix again and his Morning Line price makes plenty of appeal.
