Timeform's US team pick out their three best bets for Sunday night's stateside action...

The main angle with Jersey Jet in race 2 at Monmouth (18:15 BST) is the switch from turf to dirt, a move that often pays dividends Stateside. Jersey Jet seemed to have lost his way on dirt in the winter, so was given a nice break before running a promising fourth on turf last time. That run should put him spot-on for the switch back to dirt, and his early speed will always a potent weapon in this sort of low-level claiming company.
Tarnished can break her maiden at the second time of asking in race 4 at Monmouth (19:10 BST). This three-year-old filly ships in from New York having contested a stronger race than this on her debut, finishing a highly creditable second. That race looks like working out well - a couple of the beaten horses have run good races subsequently - and with a few of the higher profile stables represented in this race, she looks like being a spot of value, too.
Sunset Time has been a little out of her depth in her last two starts at Gulfstream Park, but is set a much easier task in race 9 at Monmouth (21:41 BST). This $16k claimer is of a very similar standard to the one that Sunset Time won at Tampa Bay Downs in December, and she looks like getting a nice stalking trip just to the outside of the pace setters. She is worth backing at anything around 4.0.
