Timeform's US team bring you their three best bets for Sunday...
"It will be disappointing if Coltimus Prime can’t make his class count at Woodbine (19:37 BST) as he's taking a big drop in class..."
Having won a modest maiden claimer last time, Layover In Tokyo now faces a much stronger field in the first race at Woodbine (18:00 BST). Despite showing improved form to record his first win, Norman McKnight's four-year-old needs to improve again to compete against the likes of Desert Strike and El Mono Verde. There are others in here who have also shown fairly useful form ratings-wise, and that makes Layover in Tokyo a lay at anything around 4.2 or shorter.
It will be disappointing if Coltimus Prime can't make his class count in race 4 at Woodbine (19:37 BST), taking a big drop in class. Last seen finishing fifth in the Grade 1 Bluegrass Stakes at Keeneland, this allowance field would appear to be there for the taking . Coltimus Prime's best Timeform form-rating of 100 puts him way ahead of tonight's rivals, and he should take advantage of this easy opportunity before going back into stakes company.
Gentle One should appreciate dropping back down in class in the race 8 at Presque Isle Downs (01:20 BST). When last seen at this track in September, Gentle One won a $7.5k claimer, before contesting a couple of better events at Keeneland, being rather out of her depth both times, although her last run in $16k claiming company was respectable. Tonight's opposition is much more her level, and she should go close.
