Timeform's US team pick out their three best bets for Monday...
"Read All About It comes here in really good form and looks worth an interest..."
Cross Mountain has faced some tough tasks since recording her last win, but could be set to score again at a more suitable level in race 2 at Monmouth (18:15 BST). This six-year-old mare was only seventh in allowance company last time, but that was her first start since January, and this drop back into the claiming ranks should be much more suitable. Her Morning Line price of 7.06/1 looks too big, and even a bit shorter than that would be worth taking.
Staying at Monmouth, and race 7 (20:39 BST) looks a competitive starter allowance contest, but Read All About It comes here in really good form and looks worth an interest. This four-year-old filly rarely fails to run her race, and she can be rewarded for her consistency by gaining her second career win. Her outside draw is another plus, which should enable her to get a nice stalking trip, while racing in the clear.
The highlight of Belmont's Monday card is the Grade 3 Poker Stakes (21:57 BST), and second favourite Peace and Justice may struggle to justify that tag. A winner of a pair of allowance races at Santa Anita, Peace and Justice was then sent off a short-priced favourite for a minor stakes race at the same track, finishing a disappointing fifth. This Grade 3 event is stronger than that one, and it would be a surprise if the Californian raider proved good enough.
