Timeform's US team pick out three bets from Turf Paradise on Monday.
"The highlight of Turf Paradise’s card is the turf allowance event carded as race 7 (22:37 GMT), with Tones possessing a strong chance of recording a hat-trick of wins."
The racing may not be of a high standard, but today's Turf Paradise card is interesting nonetheless, and the fourth race (21:16 GMT) can fall the way of the Justin Evans-trained Avellino. This three-year-old gelding still has untapped potential in a field of mostly exposed types, and should appreciate stepping up to an extended mile trip after staying on strongly over six and a half furlongs last time out. Avellino was also trapped very wide that day, so that run can be upgraded to a degree.
The following race (21:43 GMT) is an intriguing turf maiden featuring three horses who all met last time out. Come On Fire, Keepherinthedark and Rareness finished second, third and fourth in a similar contest, with Rareness the one to take out of the race. Slowly away that day, Rareness was staying on in the latter stages, despite still looking green. That was just her second start and more progression looks on the cards.
The highlight of Turf Paradise's card is the turf allowance event carded as race 7 (22:37 GMT), with Tones possessing a strong chance of recording a hat-trick of wins. Successful on his last two races over the Turf Paradise turf course, this versatile five-year-old has a potent turn of foot if the pace is strong, but is also equally comfortable on, or close to, the lead. Tones looks the day's best bet.
