Maygold - 16:45 Goodwood
MAYGOLD has progressed since switched to handicaps, going up 21 lbs from her first handicap. She's rarely run a bad race since and posted a clear career best last time when given a more patient ride at Salisbury. She steps up in grade here but given the manner and style of race she won last time, this is going to suit her as it will be run at a fast pace, giving her chance to come late. Any ground comes alike to her and with it looking like it will be similar to what her best is on here, everything looks set for a big run for an in-form trainer with Silvestre De Sousa on board.

Twasn't The Plan - 18:40 Worcester
TWASN'T THE PLAN sets the standard in this contest after two good thirds in his first two starts in this code after coming from the point-to-point scheme. However, that standard isn't all that high and a couple of others in the race present a threat to her. Present Chief has joined the powerful Jonjo O'Neill set up and could progress this year whilst double point-to-point winner Dalkingstown is related to a fairly useful two-mile hurdler and could have more to offer in this sphere.

Do You Know What - 19:15 Worcester
23% - Dan Skelton's strike rate in summer
Having just had the two starts for Dan Skelton, DO YOU KNOW WHAT looks the type that he excels with in getting to progress over the summer months. Operating at a 23% strike rate in summer, he picked her up from Ireland and now stepping back up half a mile in trip looks like being the key to finding the winning thread with her. She made her handicap debut last time when she wasn't knocked about having to come from a long way back to make her challenge. The extra yardage today will help her and she looks like being able to progress now and break her maiden tag.
