Surfa Rosa should go close for trainer Richard Hannon.
This colt caught the eye on debut when finishing fifth to She Believes at Chepstow last month. He displayed signs on inexperience in the early part of the race, but got the hang of things inside the final furlong and finished the race willingly. This was a promising effort and improvement is expected over this longer trip. At present he is trading at [6.4] on the exchange which is more than fair.
Iconic Sunset heads the market at [2.44]. He has filled the runner-up spot in his two previous races and brings the best level of form to the table. He is a deserving favourite, but could be vulnerable to an improver.
Ibn Al Emarat should be able to take advantage of the weight he receives from his two main market rivals.
This colt put in a much improved effort when finishing second to Aussie Wind at Newcastle last month. He looked like the winner inside the final furlong but the winner proved the stronger near the line. He is improving with racing and should turn the tables on his rival with a pull in the weights. At present he is trading at [3.55] on the exchange.
Beringer merits consideration. He was impressive when winning a Salisbury maiden last month, but has more to do under a penalty. I think he is open to further improvement over this longer trip and rates as the main danger to the selection.
