All roads lead to Goodwood today. Nick Shiambouros returns with two selections from the outstanding card...
"He cruised in to the lead a furlong from home, and pulled clear to win with the minimum of fuss"
Vision to see off rivals
14:25 Goodwood - Dark Vision
Dark Vision should go close in this fascinating contest.
This unbeaten colt was most impressive when beating Absolute Dream at York earlier this month. He cruised in to the lead a furlong from home, and pulled clear to win with the minimum of fuss. I think this likeable individual has a lot more to offer, and is fairly priced at 5.69/2 on the exchange.
Confiding could be the main danger. He won a Newbury maiden in good style last month, despite showing signs of inexperience. The water is much deeper today, but must be taken seriously. At present he is trading at 5.69/2 on the exchange.
Suedois ready to roll
15:00 Goodwood - Suedois
I really like the look of Suedois in this prestigious Group 2.
This gelding ran a blinder when finishing third to Beat The Bank at Ascot earlier this month. He took the lead a furlong from home, but was run out of it close home. He was a Grade 1 winner at Keenland last year, and has the form in the book to take this. I think he is sitting on a big effort and is attractively priced at 7.413/2 on the exchange.
Tip Two Win is the sole three-year-old in the race. He finished second in the 2,000 Guineas, but disappointed behind Without Parole in the St James's Palace at Ascot. He may benefit from the shorter trip. At present he is trading at 5.79/2 on the exchange.
